Relaunch of New Smallholders community website

We won’t bore you with the why’s and the where-fors, suffice to say New Smallholders has had a facelift and is now a fully functional community-based website for smallholders, new smallholders, wannabe smallholders and anyone seeking a greener, more self-sufficient lifestyle, however small or big that may be.

The Members Area is comprehensive. New Smallholders works in a similar way to Facebook.com: Users have a Profile with a Wall, news feed, friend connections and private messaging. Additionally there is an Events section where you can post details of upcoming events. Users can create groups (both private and public) and browse members to make new friends and invite them to join them in their group. Each group is accompanied by its own forum. It may be that you have your own little ‘real’ community/club/group going somewhere … now you can have a ‘virtual’ community at New Smallholders too and it won’t cost you a penny.

The success of New Smallholders is in your hands – it will take time for the site to become established and populated, but it will be worth it!
